A vine that grows toward the center.
The slim white gold shank winds into strands that sweep and cross on the way up to a tall prong head holding an oval center, chosen in the next step. Right beside the center, a marquise lab-grown diamond sits at an angle on each side, its tips capped in metal. Farther down, more marquise stones branch off the band on short stems, held in open rims like leaves. Past them the band runs plain and polished.
