About this ring
A graphic band with old-world edges.
This solitaire carries no accents; its interest is the pattern. Crossing X lines and small lozenge-shaped panels are sunk into the outer face of the band on either side of the head, and the low areas read dark, so the raised lines show up sharply. Tiny milgrain beads trace both rims. Up top, claw-tipped prongs over an open basket hold a fancy blue Asscher-cut center, chosen in the next step.
