Its long step facets frame a square with trimmed corners, and each of those corners rests under a claw prong in an open basket, so the cut's mirrored pattern shows from the front and its outline stays clear from the side. No halo or accents are added. Two polished loops curve up and meet over the head in a V to make the bail.
