Platinum Vintage Wedding Bands, grown in light.
Beaded edges and carved sides, in platinum. These platinum vintage wedding bands borrow from Edwardian and Art Deco jewelry: milgrain borders, scrollwork galleries, leaf engraving and channels of round lab-grown diamonds. Many are half eternity, and some dip in a curve to hug an engagement ring. Size and total carat weight are picked per design.

The antique details
- Milgrain: rows of tiny beads line the borders of most bands here; they soften the outline and catch light like a fine thread.
- Engraving and filigree: carved leaves, scrolls or open metalwork on the sides show when the hand is turned.
- Chevron and curves: a dip or a V in the band lets it nest under a raised center stone.
Stone weight and setting
Most designs offer roughly 0.25 to 0.5 carats total weight in round lab-grown diamonds, set in shared prongs, channels or pavé, usually covering the upper half of the ring. Leaving the underside plain makes the antique platinum band comfortable beside the next finger.
Why platinum suits a vintage band
Platinum is dense and does not wear away the way gold does; a scratch moves the metal rather than removing it. Over years that creates a soft satin patina, which many people like on an antique-style ring. Its white color stays white without plating, so engraving and milgrain keep their crisp shadows.
Caring for milgrain and engraving
Fine beading and carved grooves collect soap and lotion. A soft brush dipped in lukewarm soapy water clears them every few weeks, and ask a jeweler to repolish the band if you want the patina gone. Have the prongs and channel walls checked about once a year, since daily wear presses on a ring more than on any other piece. The one full eternity design, stones circling the whole finger, can't be stretched or reduced; a new size means remaking the band.
Ring questions, answered.
How do I choose an engagement ring?
Start with the shape she loves, then the setting style. Our gemologists can help you balance carat, cut and budget on a free video call.
Can I build my own engagement ring?
Yes — pick a setting, then a diamond, and review the finished ring before it goes to the bench.
Does the diamond price include the setting?
Diamond and setting are priced separately in the ring builder, and the total is shown before you add the ring to your bag.
How do I find my ring size?
Use our ring size guide, or order a free ring sizer — it arrives in 2–3 days.
Can I return or resize my ring?
You can return it within 30 days (a 10% restocking fee applies to resized or engraved pieces), and your first resize within 60 days of delivery is free.
Should I insure my engagement ring?
We recommend it. Every ring ships fully insured; once it is yours, a separate jewelry insurance policy covers loss, theft and accidental damage.
