Rather than prongs, a bezel wraps a stone in a slim rim of metal. Here it turns up in several spots:
- Bezel head: the center rests in a metal cup ringed by the halo.
- Bezel accents: small stones in round cups along the shoulders, sometimes graduated.

Vintage details
